Pre-operative ostomy teaching can drastically improve your overall outcomes including decreased hospital readmissions and peristomal skin breakdown. During pre-operative teaching sessions with OstomyRN, we prepare you for day of surgery, common ostomy basics, troubleshooting, nutrition and lifestyle considerations.

Already home with an ostomy? Need some reinforcements? We provide troubleshooting sessions, lifestyle recommendations, therapy referrals, and more. You choose a single session or monthly support packages to suit your needs.
Family/Caregiver Reprieve
In an effort to support those caring for ostomates, OstomyRN offers coordinated and scheduled pouch changing services.
In-Person
OstomyRN provides office and home visits to patients located in the Denver-metro area.
OstomyRN provides virtual visits to patients in Colorado and Texas (more states coming soon)!
Vitual
We offer a variety of plans for Telehealth (video and/or phone) and appointments as well as in-person appointments within the Denver-Metro area. Telehealth appointments can be held on your smart phone or your home computer without downloading a new app or program. The video appointments are delivered through a HIPAA-compliant service (SimplePractice). During your visit (virtual and in-person) we will identify your ostomy issue, make a plan to resolve the issue, contact suppliers and providers (if needed), and develop follow up care plan specifically for you. ​
